Overview
Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery in Abingdon is looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team on a full time, permanent basis. The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good', has good transport links, and onsite parking. The nursery has 148 places, is purpose built, with spacious rooms and a large garden area with climbing equipment, cycling space, sensory stations and a dedicated baby garden used in all weathers.
Salary and Location
Salary: Starting from £13.70-£14.24 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience). Location: Abingdon OX14 4RY.

Responsibilities
Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
What We’re Looking For
* Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification
* Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
* Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
* Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable
