Part-Time Domiciliary Care Assistant – Newton Abbot (Drivers Only)
Local Visits | Flexible Hours | £13.31 to £20.42 per hour

At Home Instead Newton Abbot, we provide high-quality domiciliary care that allows older adults to stay independent in their own homes. We are looking for caring, reliable people to join our local team and support clients with one-to-one visits.
You’ll be working across Newton Abbot and the surrounding towns and rural communities, helping people live well in the place they feel most comfortable — their own home.
What the Role Involves:
1. Visiting clients in their own homes
2. Providing companionship and emotional support
3. Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
4. Helping with daily routines including meals, medication prompts, and mobility
5. Assisting with errands, shopping, and light household tasks
6. Encouraging independence and confidence
Areas We Cover:
You will support clients across Newton Abbot and surrounding areas, including:
Exeter, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Kingsteignton, Bovey Tracey, Chudleigh, Exminster, Ashburton, Okehampton, and parts of Torbay.
This is a community-based role covering both town and rural locations, so travel between visits is required.
What You’ll Get:
7. £13.31 to £20.42 per hourHigher rate is based on NVQ Level 3 qualification and bank holiday pay
8. Paid waiting time between visits
9. Mileage paid at 40p per mile
10. Flexible part-time hours to suit your lifestyle
11. Full, paid training – no previous experience required

Working Pattern:
15. Part-time hours available
16. Alternate weekend working required
17. A mix of weekday and/or evening availability
What You’ll Need:
18. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
19. A kind, dependable and patient nature
20. Willingness to support with personal care
