We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our finance team on a part-time, job share basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our finance operations through accurate processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, handling payments, and assisting with incoming calls.
Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices promptly and accurately
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
* Generate and process sales invoices
* Record and allocate customer payments
* Process payments received via card, bank transfer, or other methods
* Assist with answering overflow calls in a professional manner
* Maintain accurate and organised records in line with company procedures
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
* Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes
* Strong numerical and data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
* Competent with accounting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines within a part-time schedule

Salary: £25,500 (FTE) per annum pro rata.This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.Free onsite parking.
