About the Role: The Associate Manager, Journal Marketing will support the development and execution of marketing strategies for a portfolio of journals, with a focus on planning and executing digital campaigns, events and content marketing. You'll work closely with Publishing colleagues, external partners, and the wider Marketing team to support compelling go-to-market plans that drive article submissions, revenue, and readership growth for your portfolio, helping expand our reach into key markets. You'll assist in planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns tailored to key audiences, ensuring messaging and propositions resonate with regional needs and preferences. You'll collaborate with shared service teams to activate campaigns across effective channels, including email, paid media, and organic social. You'll bring strong organizational abilities and a collaborative approach, building relationships with Publishing colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders. You'll support reporting on results and help analyze data, market intelligence, and competitive insights specific to your subject portfolio to inform planning decisions. You'll be developing your understanding of the Responsibilities Support the execution of go-to-market strategies for a portfolio of journals, delivering targeted marketing programs that drive measurable business results. Review market intelligence, market research, and competitor activity to identify customer needs and opportunities for article growth and market share. Provide and share customer insights to inform strategic planning and improve author and reader experience, driving increased submissions, downloads, satisfaction, and revenue. Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, digital, and social channels, from ideation through delivery. Increase visibility of journal portfolios and new launches within relevant research communities and emerging markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with external society stakeholders and Journal Editors to support collaboration, engagement, and portfolio growth.
