Print and Installation Technician Location: Haverhill Salary: £26,000 to £33,000 per year Reports to: Director of Operations A forward-thinking graphics and signage business based in Haverhill is seeking a skilled Print and Installation Technician to join its production team. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of projects including vehicle graphics, interior décor, architectural films, window manifestations, signage, and specialist printed materials. The position involves both hands-on production and installation, with most work carried out on site at the company’s premises, and occasional installations at customer locations. Key Responsibilities Production and Workflow • Operate printers, laminators, cutters, and all equipment related to print production • Process files accurately and prepare materials for vehicle graphics, interior graphics, signage, and other applications • Carry out pre-application preparation including cleaning, component removal, surface checks, and re-installation • Maintain stock levels of consumables and support efficient production planning • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and machinery in line with manufacturer guidelines • Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with safety requirements Installation • Install and apply graphics and signage with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes • Conduct site surveys, take accurate measurements, and check materials and surfaces for suitability • Identify any issues such as imperfections, production concerns, or substrate problems and escalate where required • Follow all workshop and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE Customer Interaction • Engage professionally with customers, ensuring a positive and knowledgeable service experience • Complete required inspections, documentation, and payment processes where necessary • Represent the organisation on customer sites with a high standard of professionalism Teamwork and Continuous Improvement • Work proactively as part of a team, maintaining clear communication with colleagues and management • Understand material types, behaviours, and correct application techniques • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, product quality, and workflow • Support the wider team and undertake additional tasks as requested Skills, Experience, and Requirements • Full UK driving licence • Experience in print production, signage, graphics installation, or a related field is advantageous • Confidence using production equipment such as printers, laminators, plotters, or similar machinery • Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work to high quality standards • Willingness to work toward accreditations such as PASMA, IPAF, materials installation or Health and Safety qualifications • Reliable, organised, and able to manage tasks within set deadlines If you are interested in the role of Print and Installation Technician and feel that you have the relevant experience, please contact your Recruitment Partner, Lisa Logan at Unicorn Resourcing on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) If this job isn't exactly right for you but you're looking for something new, please contact us for a confidential career discussion.
