Job Title: SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £30 per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored teaching and support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN Code of Practise
* Ability to create and implement individual education plans
* Strong classroom management skills
* Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Experience in assessing and identifying SEN in students
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, temporary position
* Work closely with students, parents, and school staff
* Potential for some travel within the region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
