An opportunity has arisen for 1.5 Family Support Workers based at Ridingleaze House, Lawrence Weston. There is one full time post and one 18.5 hours post.
You will need to have an understanding of Children’s Social Care as well as good interpersonal skills, flexibility and an understanding of the vulnerabilities experienced by the children and families who receive a service.
You will work jointly with Social Workers to support families in increasing parenting capacity or by supervising contact for children who are not currently cared for by their parents. You will need to demonstrate good organisational and written skills as well as a capacity to work under pressure.
Please note this role is subject to a DBS Enhanced Check.
