This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering/supporting the continued growth and development of the Secure and Specialist Education service through this role.
Secure and Specialist Education is a part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services Directorate, responsible for delivering education to some of the county’s and the country’s most vulnerable learners. We provide education at various venues including three psychiatric units, a secure children’s home, a high dependency children’s home, as well as the Future You tutoring service, which supports children who are not in school.
This role involves delivering specialist tuition to learners across the county and potentially at other Secure and Specialist settings, supporting these children to re-engage with their education and make positive steps towards future pathways. The nominal base for this role is Winchester, but you will work from a range of venues across the county.
