Job Summary
We are currently looking for an Operations Technician to join and complement our existing warehouse team. We are looking for someone to assist with the day to day running of our warehouse, including the preparation, maintenance and checking- in of equipment, from both productions and hires. We are also looking for someone to assist and perform maintenance work on all equipment.
Due to the nature of our industry, we may also require you to work outside of your regular hours, and take on additional responsibilities, including becoming the main point of contact for our client for an event.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Helping run daily operations of the warehouse including preparation of equipment for productions and hires to the highest standard
* Using rental management software to track jobs, check job sheets and flag any issues
* Ensuring the warehouse and all equipment is kept neat, tidy and in order and carry out general cleaning, servicing,maintenance and repairs on necessary equipment
* Ensuring all equipment is accounted for upon leaving/returning the warehouse
* To assist with installation, setup and de-rig of equipment when working on site
* Carrying out occasional deliveries and collections
* Assisting with loading/Unloading of Vans/Trucks
* Maintain Health & Safety standards and adhere to company policies/procedures
* Performing stock checks at required intervals and reporting missing/damaged equipment
Essential requirements
* A basic level of knowledge for audio/visual equipment
* IT literate including competency with all Microsoft Office applications
* Keen interest in learning and developing skills and knowledge
* Strong written and communication skills
* Excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and a
* Methodical approach to work
* Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects
* Ability to use initiative, work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Hold a full clean driving license
* Flexibility with working hours, and willing to work evenings and weekends when requested at short notice
* The ability to work both independently and as a team

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
