What the Job Involves This role involves leading the strategic housing response to rough sleeping for Kingston Council, in line with their Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate multi-agency arrangements, and maintain strategic relationships with partners like the Greater London Authority and the Ministry of Housing. You will oversee financial management of grant funding, monitor performance, and implement improvements. As the key contact for the Council's rough sleeping initiatives, you will handle inquiries, provide complex reports, and ensure service alignment with broader council strategies. You will also spearhead the commissioning and contracting of services, monitor budgets and grants, and lead the execution of rapid and effective responses to community needs.
