Vehicle Technician – Northampton Main Dealer Opportunity
1. Position: Vehicle Technician
2. Location: North Northamptonshire
3. Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus (OTE £42,000)
4. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (No Weekends)
Our client, a well-established and respected family-run automotive group with multiple sites across Northamptonshire, is continuing its growth following the recent acquisition of a new franchise. As a result, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their successful team.

Responsibilities:
5. Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for:
6. Servicing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vehicle makes and models
7. Carrying out diagnostics using modern equipment
8. Repairing and replacing key components including brakes, suspension, and transmission systems
9. Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and workshop standards
10. Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
Requirements:
11. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
12. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
13. Ability to carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work
14. Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
15. Team player with a professional and reliable approach
16. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) preferred
Benefits:
17. Basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
18. Bonus scheme with OTE of £42,000
19. Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
