In this role, you will be driving pioneering custom advertising initiatives for our key EU brands from start to finish. You will identify customer engagement opportunities across Amazon’s customer journeys and partner closely with creative, product, and account teams as the Project Lead. As a Custom Program Manager, you will develop and manage innovative solutions at scale that set the stage for superior advertiser performance while delighting our customers. Key job responsibilities include:
1. Technically validate and thoroughly scope various customer experiences, providing detailed functional requirements and timelines, aligned with creative, technical, legal, and testing teams.
2. Project manage complex campaigns from conception to go live, employing various project management methodologies.
3. Develop and drive new advertising product innovations beyond standard product cards by engaging with customers, creative teams, and management to deliver unique solutions for strategic partners.
4. Manage ad hoc requests for new advertising concepts that can be delivered rapidly and thoroughly.
5. Conduct client meetings to assess goals, objectives, and requests related to advertising solutions.
6. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
7. Develop solution plans that meet operational requirements, manage the execution of custom advertising solutions, and ensure stakeholders have all necessary inputs.
8. Present confidently to Amazon senior management, external clients, and large audiences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles with a focus on data analysis.
* Experience with annual brand and media planning.
* Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including cross-team collaboration.
* Several years of experience in Product and Project Management, ideally within advertising, e-commerce, or digital space.
* Proven track record of building and delivering end-to-end concept propositions with flawless execution.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internally and externally, and experience partnering with a global sales organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree or MBA, Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2).
* Proven experience developing non-standard advertising solutions from scratch or creating solution-oriented products.
* Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, dealing with ambiguity and providing project timelines and technical solutions from ideation.
* Proficient in English and at least one of the following languages: German, French.
