Job: Machine Operator
Location: Winsford
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunity
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (6am - 2:45pm and 12pm finish on Fridays)
Rate Of Pay: £13.50ph (plus a monthly bonus for full attendance if successfully taken on permanent)

Our client, a leading organisation within their industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to become a vital part of their team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be operating various machinery including a combination of CNC machines, cross cut saws and table saws. We are looking for an experienced machinist for this role, ideally with CNC experience.
Your responsibilities will involve:
Operating Machinery: Run cutting, shaping, drilling and use of other machines involved in the manufacturing process.
Setting Up Machines: Ensure machines are set correctly for various types and processes, optimising production efficiency. Programming machines to specifics of the job.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and customer specifications.
Material Handling: Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, fostering a safe and secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of production data, ensuring full product traceability at all times.
Troubleshooting: Identify and address minor machine issues or product quality problems promptly to maintain workflow.
Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs on products or equipment as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of cutting, shaping, and drilling processes.
CNC experience is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail for quality control inspections.
Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with inventory management practises.
Commitment to following safety protocols.
Excellent record-keeping abilities.
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
