Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Team Leader to join a team in Ruthin. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential care facility, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care and support. You will lead and motivate a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Supervising and supporting a team of care staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high standards of care.
* Conducting regular team meetings and training sessions to promote professional development and teamwork.
* Overseeing the development and implementation of individualised care plans for residents.
* Ensuring that all care is delivered in line with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
* Monitoring the physical and emotional well-being of residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
* Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that promotes residents' independence and quality of life.
* Maintaining accurate records of care delivery, incidents, and other relevant documentation.
* Acting as a point of contact for families, addressing any queries or concerns regarding care provision.
Requirements:
* 1-year experience in residential childcare.
* Level 3 Children & Young People Award or equivalent.
* Experience of working within and leading a team.
* Ability to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights and weekends).
* Willingness and ability to be able to be part of a Management on call system.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
