Nicholas Associates are working with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor who is looking to bring on board a Site Engineer to manage large-scale section 278 works project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out section 278 works, earthworks, drainage
* Managing and setting out all engineering works
* QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams
* Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer
* Proficient with GPS/setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)
* A strong understanding of highway construction
* Experience with Surveying and as-built documentation
* Leica machine control experience
* Proficient in cad software (AutoCAD 3d civil preferred but not essential)
* Full UK driving licence
