The role

As a Commercial Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will drive meaningful impact every day by managing existing contracts, leading negotiations, overseeing pricing strategies, and conducting dynamic risk assessments.

Day-to-day, you'll have the following responsibilities:

* Design and execute strategic commercial plans to maximise programme success and customer satisfaction
* Manage and inspire a team of commercial professionals across a diverse portfolio of support contracts.
* Develop and implement practical commercial solutions that achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Deliver contract management and governance support to project teams, ensuring compliance and commercial integrity.
* Lead negotiations and pricing activities to drive organic growth and secure new business opportunities.

This role is full time working 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements, mainly based on site at Ashton Vale, Bristol.

Qualifications for the Commercial Specialist:

* Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, Law, or Accountancy—though not essential.

Holds, or is willing to work towards, relevant functional qualifications such as:

* Postgraduate Certificate in Commercial Management (PGCCM).
* Membership of the World Commerce and Contracting Association (WCC).
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
