Summary ‘Looking after what we’ve got’ is the essence of what we do every day, so with a range of buildings to care for alongside busy visitor facilities, we’re looking for a Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator to keep Tattershall Castle in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place. What it's like to work here Reporting to the Facilities Manager and working closely with the Property Operations Manager, you'll join a small, busy team who work across the property to welcome visitors and care for our buildings and facilities. You'll sometimes find yourself working alone while at other times you’ll be working alongside colleagues. With lots going on, you can guarantee no day will be the same. You’ll be based at Tattershall Castle, a magnificent 15th century tower and one of the earliest and finest surviving examples of English medieval brickwork. From the battlements you get a 360-degree view of the Lincolnshire countryside and on a clear day can see up to 18 miles. What you'll be doing As Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator you’ll play a key role in ensuring Tattershall Castle operates efficiently, effectively and flexibly, and will quickly get to know the site as you access all areas to support day-to-day operations. You’ll help the property team meet their goals by keeping standards high, and your advice and experience may also be sought by others. You’ll co-ordinate maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), work with contractors, respond promptly to issues, and champion best practice when it comes to compliance and business support. You'll work behind the scenes, doing essential tasks to make Tattershall Castle a special place for staff and visitors alike.
