Overview
Salary grade: NJC Pay Scale 4-6, £32,442 to £38,637 per annum (depending on experience). Note this is the pro rata term time only plus 1 week (actual salary £28,868-£34,381) 35hrs per week (with possible regular overtime). Closing Date for Applications: 9am, Wednesday 17th September 2025. Start Date: ASAP. Contract type: One year in the first instance, term time + 5 days. Who are we?
Highbury Fields School is an 11 to 18 girls’ school that serves a culturally rich, often underprivileged community. The school focuses on equality, diversity and inclusion, and aims to help every child become a confident young adult who is academically and socially accomplished. We continuously develop our studied, pastoral and wider curricular to meet our students’ needs in the post-Covid context.
What is the role?
We are seeking to appoint an Art and Technology Technician to join the school. This is an important, busy role that provides technical support to the art and technology departments. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment is functioning and ready to use, and that the right materials are available for lessons. The successful candidate will be a valued member of our teaching and non-teaching staff. The role also includes a range of administration duties, including media resources and front-line IT support. Applications are welcome from recent graduates and from more experienced colleagues, with opportunities for training within the school.
