Neighbourhood Team Leader Greater Manchester £41,142 - £43,341 per annum Hours of Work: 35 per week Closing date: 11th July 2025 Interviews: End of July2025 Our client is committed to making sure their customers have good quality, safe homes and communities, and their Neighbourhood Team Leaders are key to making this happen. They are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic individual to support the team to deliver a holistic tenancy, property management and neighbourhood management service focusing on a 360-degree understanding of People, Property & Place to join their established team. Reporting to the Regional Neighbourhood Manager the Neighbourhood Team Leaders take an operational lead role in ensuring the effective delivery of high quality and effective neighbourhood management services in accordance with the Groups policies and procedures. In addition, they are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities. What do their Neighbourhood Team Leaders do; Recognise and respond to the challenges faced by customers and communities whilst enabling frontline teams to deliver resilient and more responsive services to our customers. Manage and lead Neighbourhood Officers and Neighbourhood Coordinator to deliver on targets and a service promoting neighbourhood wellbeing and community cohesion. Contribute to continuous review and improvement of their Neighbourhood Strategy and Offer. To provide direction and guidance for the Neighbourhood Team, promoting their values and ethos. Lead on the efficient control and recovery of high-level rent arrears in accordance with the Groups policy and procedures and the sectors best practices. Ensuring their rental income is maximised, and targets are met whilst aiming for them to be exceeded. Work within the Regulator of Social Housings Consumer Standards Develop and strengthen partnerships both internally and externally, working collaboratively with other teams to improve the customer journey and actively promote interagency working throughout the Neighbourhood teams. What they are looking for; Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and management development. Experience of working in neighbourhood management and managing staff. Experience of training and developing team members to enhance their skills to ensure performance standards are met. Experience of delivering quality work on time. The ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload. Customer focused and a desire to provide services to a high standard. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner.
