Senior Product Manager – Wholesale Lending
Purpose of the Role
Develop and manage wholesale lending products and services while ensuring service standards are met with business partners such as investment bankers, credit analysts, risk managers and operations professionals. Ensure products meet client needs, align with the bank’s strategic objectives and comply with governance, control, regulatory and legal requirements.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and execute the product strategy for financial products and services within the wholesale division.
* Identify investment opportunities and customer needs to create new products or enhance existing ones.
* Manage the entire product lifecycle, including planning, development, launch and ongoing management, and oversee service levels.
* Analyze market data to make informed decisions on product positioning and pricing.
* Assess and manage risks associated with lending products and implement risk mitigation strategies, including attending governance forums.
* Oversee regulatory and technological changes.
Expectations
Lead product development activities, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets and policies, and manage and maintain processes to deliver continuous improvements. Demonstrate accountability for risk management and strengthening controls. Collaborate with other areas to align business activity with strategy and create innovative solutions.

* Confident presenter to senior stakeholders, articulating ideas clearly and influencing decisions.
* Creative and resourceful, able to prioritise, take initiative and challenge processes constructively.
* Previous experience with debt products (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital/technology.
