Job Description
3. Assist in the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed analysis.
5. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
6. Prepare financial reports and provide insights to aid decision-making.
7. Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
9. Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance, or working towards one.
12. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. A good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
15. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
