Position Details
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Monmouth County, NJ
Duration: 30–40 day assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $50–$65/hour (commensurate with experience)
Industry: Private Equity-Backed (strongly preferred)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead short-term financial planning and analysis initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
* Develop and refine forecasting models, cash flow projections, and budget variance analysis.
* Partner with department heads to gather data and provide actionable insights.
* Support monthly close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Assist in preparing board-level presentations and investor reports.
* Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting and analysis.
* Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure financial alignment.

Qualifications
* 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably in a private equity-backed environment.
* Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
* Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
