Could you be the person who helps a young person feel supported, understood, and able to succeed? Some students need more than academic support – they need someone who can build trust, provide consistency, and help them navigate the challenges of school life.
We're currently working with a number of specialist schools across Andover and the surrounding areas, looking for compassionate, resilient individuals to join as Learning Mentors on both flexible and long‑term placements. No previous school experience is required.
Responsibilities
* Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs
* Help young people regulate emotions and stay focused in school
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students
* Work closely with teachers, SEN teams, and pastoral staff
* Act as a calm and reliable presence throughout the school day
This is a hands‑on role where the support you provide can make a genuine difference to a student's confidence and progress.
