Overview
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our busy Social Housing Litigation team in Manchester. You will assist experienced Solicitors working on housing disrepair and other housing management litigation matters.
Responsibilities
 * Assist Solicitors, Associates and Partners in defending housing disrepair (primarily in pre‑action cases) on behalf of social housing providers.
 * Support other general housing management matters as required.
 * Maintain ongoing file management and administration, including updating the case management system.
 * Scan, photocopy and manage documents, ensuring client and matter records are kept in line with firm procedures.
 * Provide additional assistance to the team with any other pertinent tasks.
Qualifications
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT packages.
 * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Experience conducting legal research.
 * A flexible and proactive approach to supporting the team.
 * Self‑motivation with the ability to work independently.
