A Mandarin speaker is required to join the firm's Tax Department. The junior tax advisor will support the tax team in giving clients excellent tax compliance and advisory services. This role entails preparing tax returns, carrying out research, handling client and HMRC correspondence, and passing UK tax law training and exams. Job Requirements: Willing to pursue ATT and CTA. Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Excellent communicator who enjoys teamwork. Fluency in both Mandarin and English. Highly motivated. Capability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Understanding the Microsoft suite is advantageous. Job Responsibilities: Prepare individual, partnership, and CGT on UK real estate, ATED, and trust/estate returns for evaluation. Prepare P11D forms for inspection. Conduct initial studies on technical issues. Organise HMRC client authorizations and client lists. Examine all correspondence between the client and HMRC, and draft responses as needed. Keep track of tax compliance reports Complete the necessary training and exams for compliance (ATT) and advice (CTA) under UK tax law.
