Description
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
* Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
* Provide support during the month-end and year-end close processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Help identify areas for process improvement within the accounting and finance functions.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
