About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position, and successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a managerial role based on branch vacancies. If you’re currently in an Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or Branch Manager (BM) role with Wells Fargo, you will not participate in the readiness program.
As a Branch Manager, you will lead, manage, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. You’ll drive customer engagement, enhance the customer experience, and ensure operational excellence while adhering to policies and regulations.
Your Responsibilities
* Coach and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and drive growth.
* Resolve customer and employee experience issues to meet Branch Network objectives.
* Identify opportunities to simplify banking for customers through education and digital options.
* Engage stakeholders and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
* Mentor and guide talent development of your team while assisting in hiring.
* Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
* 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
* Ability to inspire a team focused on adaptability, collaboration, and accountability.
* Strong analytical skills to assess performance and empower employees.
* Experience in coaching across various customer segments.
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with customers and partners.
* Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, and compliance controls.
* Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Job Expectations
* Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
* This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
