Installation Engineer
Pay: £16.00 – £22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time (40–50 hours per week)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity for anInstallation Engineerto work with diesel and gas generators and associated equipment. The position involves both workshop and on-site installation, requiring a hands-on approach and experience in engineering or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Install diesel and gas generators, pipework, and associated systems.
* Assemble and fit pipework both on-site and in the workshop.
* Move and assemble heavy plant and machinery safely.
* Operate hand and power tools confidently and safely.
* Work on varied sites, adhering to all safety procedures and site standards.
* Travel to sites as required (expenses fully paid).
Requirements
* Experience in engineering, mechanical fitting, or construction environments.
* Skilled in using hand and power tools.
* Valid CSCS card (required).
* Full UK driving licence (required).
* Ability to travel and work away from home when necessary.
* Experience with pipe fitting, MEWP, or forklift operation is advantageous.
* Competitive hourly rate: £16.00 – £22.00 per hour.
