At OSB Group, our third-party relationships are critical to how we operate, innovate and deliver for our customers. We're looking for a Head of Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management to provide strategic leadership across procurement and TPRM, ensuring our frameworks are robust, compliant, and future-ready.
This role reports directly into Group Chief Operating Officer and will lead a geographically distributed team and oversee the full third-party lifecycle – from sourcing and onboarding through to ongoing monitoring and exit, ensuring our approach is resilient, proportionate and aligned to business strategy, while enabling agility and innovation.
You'll operate within the Group's SMCR framework, representing the function at senior governance forums and acting as a trusted partner to leaders across the business.
This role can be based in Wolverhampton or Chatham and will involve some UK and international travel, including India.
What you will be doing?
The Head of Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management is a senior leadership role with first line accountability, responsible for setting and embedding the Group's procurement and third-party risk strategy, strengthening governance, and ensuring we extract demonstrable commercial value from our supplier relationships while meeting regulatory expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting, owning and continually enhancing the Group's Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management (including IntraGroup) strategy, policies, standards, operating model and governance framework across all functions and geographies
* Providing strategic leadership across the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, issue management and offboarding
* Leading major sourcing initiatives, high-value RFPs and category management, delivering strong commercial outcomes, spend optimisation and resilient supplier relationships
* Developing and maintaining robust third-party risk frameworks, including inherent risk classification, supplier scoring models and oversight of the Outsourcing and Critical Third-Party Register (including PRA submissions)
* Partnering closely with Legal, Risk and Relationship Owners on contract reviews, renegotiations, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
* Supporting transformation and change programmes, including the Group's move towards a more digital and technology-driven operating model through driving continuous improvement, process optimisation and technology adoption

Do you have the skills?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
* Proven experience developing and embedding Procurement and TPRM / IntraGroup frameworks, including policy development, risk management and process optimisation within financial services or a similarly regulated environment
* Experience operating with delegated executive authority, representing functions at senior governance forums and managing complex stakeholder relationships across all levels
* Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements for Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management, alongside solid knowledge of Procurement and Operational Risk Management frameworks
* Demonstrable commercial acumen, including cost modelling, supplier negotiations, contract reviews and end-to-end management of RFQ/RFP processes
* Proven ability to align functional strategy to wider business objectives, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and lead teams remotely
* Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills, with a structured approach and strong attention to detail
