Role Overview
We are working in partnership with a well-established organisation within a regulated industry to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of site equipment and infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair equipment faults, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance policies and procedures.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance programmes.
* Manage spare parts inventory and conduct Health & Safety assessments.
* Maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance.
* Review and manage service and maintenance contracts.
* Perform quality inspections to ensure operational standards are met.
* Monitor and control maintenance-related costs.
* Oversee procurement activities and supervise external service providers.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Experience working in a regulated environment.
* HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant time-served apprenticeship in a similar discipline.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with regulatory audits.
* Experience with PLC systems.
* Working knowledge of CMMS platforms.
