German Lecturer (1 Evening per Week) - Further Education Cardiff
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic German Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate linguist to inspire adult learners to develop their German language skills, confidence, and cultural understanding.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive German language lessons to learners aged 16+
* Teach one evening per week in a supportive and collaborative environment
* Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans and assessments aligned with course outcomes
* Support learners of varying abilities to achieve their individual goals
* Foster an appreciation of German language and culture through interactive teaching
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS, or equivalent)
* Previous experience teaching German to post-16 or adult learners (FE or similar setting preferred)
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
* A commitment to creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment
