Job Summary
Danes Camp & The Parks Medical Centre is looking for a Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to support our Primary Care Network (PCN) across six sites. The role is under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) and offers a competitive salaried package with flexible working patterns.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based medical care to patients, managing acute, chronic and preventative care.
* Conduct telephone and face‑to‑face consultations, including history taking, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑ups.
* Deliver care at any one of the six practice sites: Danes Camp, Rillwood, Grange Park, Blisworth, Roade, Hanslope.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, paramedics, health coaches, and GP assistants.
* Participate in clinical meetings, audits, quality improvement activities and the NHS Quality and Outcomes Framework.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, undertake at least one clinical audit per year, and support the implementation of governance and improvement initiatives.
* Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and new recruits where required.
* Support continuity of care and patient safety initiatives, and engage in professional development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* CCT qualification and registration as a GP on the National Health Service Competence (NHSC) register.
* Extensive clinical experience in primary care.
* Evidence of continuing professional development and compliance with GMC re‑validation requirements.
* Strong communication, organisational and change‑management skills.
* Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, clinical audits, and using NHS quality frameworks.
Desirable
* Master’s level qualification in a relevant field.
* Management or leadership qualification or experience.
* Teaching qualification or recent attendance on a leadership skills programme.
* Experience in leading service projects, clinical research, or writing clinical protocols.

Working Pattern & Contract
Permanent, full‑time position with 8 sessions per week, sessional rate of £11,000 per annum. Contract includes protected CPD and NHS pension provision.
