You will be working full-time with individuals facing physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. What you will do:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and/or learning disabilities.
* Evaluate and recommend appropriate aids to promote independence, and assess the need for both major and minor adaptations.
* Perform manual handling assessments and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of all interventions.
* Promote independent living among citizens to avoid over-dependence on care services.
* Collaborate closely with the Council to ensure individuals can remain at home safely and comfortably for as long as feasible, thereby reducing care costs.
Requirements:
* Valid HCPC registration.
* Full driving licence and accessibility to a car for work purposes.
