We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join schools in Newcastle. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning and feel confident in the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND
* Assisting with learning activities and adapting materials to suit individual needs
* Supporting personal care and sensory needs where required
* Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff

* Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, or youth settings all relevant)
* Is patient, adaptable, and confident in using creative approaches to learning
* Understands the importance of inclusion and safeguarding
