For the direct management of all UK and Ireland operational sites, we are looking for a Director of Operations.
Managing and working with our site depot managers, you will meet all operational needs, ensuring health & safety procedures and legal procedures. Tosca’s Director of Operations UK/IRE will report to the VP Operations EU.
Your will be responsible for
* Maximizing profitability and balancing operational costs across all sites.
* Improving efficiency and meeting all KPI’s.
* Leading, coaching and supporting site depot managers and third party partners.
* Facilitating effective performance management and cultivating a positive working environment while driving business initiatives.
* Developing and translating supply chain & operations business strategies into operational goals with visible metrics.
* Delivering operational requirements by setting annual budgets, monitoring and verifying all expenses and operational costs.
* Maintaining a safe working environment for all Tosca team members, visitors and customers.
* Recognizing our customers and commitments to safety, sanitation expectations, pride and performance.
* Managing collaboration and contracts with external partners.
Your profile
* Proven track record in a similar role
* Experience in logistics and supply chain management. Experience in pooling is considered a plus.
* Excellent leadership and organizational skills, establishing the most efficient way to run the business.
* Strong decision making skills, ensuring operational synergy and continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication skills, building bridges across different departments and identifying automation opportunities.
* Liaising with VP Operations EU on operational activities and strategic goals.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Food Safety Management system, ISO practices and food safety hazards in all assigned Service Centers.
* Open to travel up to 30% of working time to assigned service centers across UK/IRE. Occasional visits abroad.
