Education Supply Pool are a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short-term and long-term positions on behalf of schools based in Risca and its surrounding areas. Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales. Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview and I.D check in the office building, we are based in Newport city centre. Directions will be provided closer to date.
We are looking for someone FULL TIME who is a Teaching Assistant with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting. Someone with specific background in Education, who has obtained a minimum of 3 months experience working inside a classroom either a Primary or Secondary school environment.
Owning a valid UK Driver's License and having access to a vehicle would widen job opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment with the correct Education and Training
* Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
* Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
* Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
* Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
* Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.
