Overview
The Families First Partnership (FFP) aims to transform children\'s social care by fostering collaboration between health visitors, social workers, and other professionals to provide early intervention and support for families. It focuses on enhancing \"Family Help,\" improving safeguarding, and supporting families to stay together.
The Families First Partnership Mobilisation Officer will take a strategic and professional lead on aspects of supporting the Place mobilisation of the Families First Partnership Programme. The post holder will work collaboratively with named safeguarding health professionals, local authority children's services, Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships (LSCPs) and NHS England, and will link with the Humber 0-19 Specialist Public Health Nursing service, Humber Safeguarding Team and other Humber Children\'s services and East Riding Local Authority.
Responsibilities
* Provide a strategic and professional lead on aspects of Place mobilisation of the Families First Partnership Programme, and support to partners and service providers.
* Link with named safeguarding health professionals, local authority children\'s services, Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships (LSCPs) and NHS England.
* Work collaboratively with the Humber 0-19 Specialist Public Health Nursing service, Humber Safeguarding Team and other Humber Children\'s services and East Riding Local Authority.
* Drive forward the Families First Partnership agenda for Children\'s services across East Riding, leveraging knowledge of transformation and change management.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of prevention and family support to positively impact child health and developmental outcomes.
Qualifications
* Knowledge, enthusiasm, and vision to drive the Families First Partnership agenda for Children\'s services.
* Extensive public health nursing experience with skills in transformation and change management.
* Strong interpersonal, strategic, and technical skills in operational delivery, service planning, change implementation and performance improvement.
* Supportive and visible leadership style.
