Consultant Psychiatrist, General Adult Psychiatry – Pendle CMHT (10PA)
Position: Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry, full‑time (10PA) based at Pendle House, Nelson, Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary
The role is to provide high‑quality psychiatric care within the Pendle Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). Duties include managing a compact caseload of complex and unstable adult cases, supporting and advising multidisciplinary team members, and participating in the Consultant On‑Call rota (additional remuneration offered).
Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical care to adult psychiatric patients within the Pendle CMHT.
* Maintain a compact caseload of complex and unstable cases.
* Support, advise, and supervise other team members.
* Participate in the Consultant On‑Call rota.
* Ensure all statutory and professional duties are met (Section 12 approval, Approved Clinician status, etc.).
Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent.
* Full GMC registration and Licence to Practice.
* On the GMC Specialist Register or eligible to register within 6 months of interview.
* Section 12 approved or eligible to be approved within 6 months.
* Approved Clinician (AC) status or eligible within 6 months.
Experience
* Knowledge, skills and experience appropriate for a Consultant Psychiatrist role within General Adult Psychiatry.
