Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD) – Solihull (B28)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + performance bonus
We are recruiting an experienced and compliance-driven Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD/LD children’s home in Solihull (B28). This is a well-established service with 2 residents already in placement, requiring a confident leader who can maintain stability, drive quality, and ensure excellent outcomes.

What we’re looking for
You must demonstrate absolute strength in regulatory knowledge and a proven track record of working within high-quality Ofsted-regulated children’s homes.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum 6+ months working within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
* Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections, with ability to provide URNs and inspection outcomes
* Strong understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding frameworks, and risk management
* Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards)
* Ability to lead, inspire, and develop staff teams
* Confident in creating a child-centred, trauma-informed environment
Key responsibilities
* Lead and develop the team to deliver high-quality care and safeguarding
* Maintain regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections
* Work closely with local authorities, social workers, and external partners
* Manage budgets, rota planning, and placement stability
* Ensure each child’s care plan is delivered with consistency, compassion, and therapeutic focus
