Care Assistant
Location: Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, United Kingdom

What You’ll Be Doing
* Support and assist residents with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, and all other aspects of daily living.
* Provide physical, emotional and spiritual care, ensuring residents retain comfort and dignity.
* Assist residents with limited mobility, making full use of aids provided.
* Monitor residents who may be confused or exhibit behavioural problems.
* Assist with continence promotion.
* Provide care for residents who are dying or have a progressive illness, including last offices.
* Observe care‑planning needs and complete written daily records as instructed.
* Promote and participate in social activities, helping residents with hobbies and daily engagement.
* Answer nurse call system, telephone and door appropriately, passing on messages promptly.
* Report on residents’ well‑being under senior care staff supervision.
* Perform regular checks on residents as directed by senior staff.
* Welcome visitors and provide refreshments or assistance as needed.
* Carry out bed making, ensure rooms are clean and tidy, and manage commode disposal following policy.
* Clean and maintain equipment used by residents (wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles, etc.).
* Record participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement.
