We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary mainstream school in Rugby, Warwickshire. We pay £89.00 per day for this role.
About the Role:
1. Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning, behaviour, or emotional needs.
2. Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans.
3. Adapting classroom materials to suit different learning styles and needs.
4. Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence.
5. Providing personal care or mobility support where required (training provided).
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
1. Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
2. Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
3. Is calm, reliable, and able to respond flexibly to the needs of the day.
4. Has a positive, pupil-centred approach with clear boundaries.
5. Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed.
Desirable:
* A relevant Level 2/3 TA or SEN qualification.
* Experience with SEND.
* Previous experience in an educational or care setting.
