Executive Director – Communications
Salary: £104,984.08 per annum
Location: Head Office – London
Duration: Permanent
The Labour Party is looking to recruit an Executive Director – Communications. The post-holder will be responsible for leading a world class, modern communications function to assist Labour in government and help achieve ongoing electoral success for the Party. Provide strategic leadership and management of the Labour Party's press and broadcasting and briefings team. Oversee the development of a communications function, integrated across the organisation, that delivers excellent communications and press management and provides a key role in the delivery of world class election campaigns.
Requirements
* Thorough knowledge of the media nationally and regionally
* Proven experience of developing and delivering a national communication strategy delivered across a variety of media channels
* Substantive experience of politics and political campaigns
* Significant people management and leadership experience
