To Have & To Hire Events is looking for a Business Optimisation & AI Apprentice to join our growing office team at the heart of the wedding and events industry.
This is not a traditional admin apprenticeship.
You'll sit at the intersection of operations, technology and client experience, supporting the systems and processes that power hundreds of weddings and events each year.
Working closely with our Business & Systems Manager, Client Journey Co-ordinator and Delivery Leadership Team, you'll learn how a modern events business operates behind the scenes — while completing a nationally recognised AI and IT apprenticeship.

Core Responsibilities
As you progress through your apprenticeship, your role will develop across five key pillars:
Office, Systems & Communications
You will act as a central support hub within the office environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Acting as first point of contact for inbound phone calls
* Managing shared inbox triage and email categorisation
* Routing enquiries to the correct departments
* Escalating urgent client or venue communications
* Supporting internal task coordination through
* Assisting with systems administration and data accuracy
You will help ensure the office runs calmly, professionally and efficiently.
Client Journey Support
Working alongside the Client Journey Co-ordinator, you will assist in managing the administrative lifecycle of bookings.
Support tasks include:
* Assisting with quote generation and amendments
* Supporting balance payment tracking
* Helping prepare client documentation
* Maintaining accurate stock and order records
* Supporting pre-event readiness checks
You will play a key role in ensuring clients feel informed, supported and cared for throughout their journey.
Sales & Consultation Support
You will support the commercial and showroom side of the business by:
* Assisting with showroom appointment preparation
* Supporting Zoom consultations
* Helping maintain showroom presentation
* Assisting with sales follow-ups and enquiry recovery
* Learning the THTH sales approach and client experience standards
This provides valuable exposure to the commercial engine of the business.
AI & Business Optimisation
As part of your apprenticeship, you will help drive digital improvement projects.
This includes:
* Using Generative AI to draft communications and marketing content
* Supporting prompt engineering and AI workflow design
* Building automations for repetitive admin tasks
* Assisting with digital knowledge libraries and documentation
* Supporting AI adoption across the team
You don't need prior AI experience — training is provided throughout the programme.
Team & Operational Support
While this is primarily an office-based role, flexibility is key in a growing small business.
You may occasionally:
* Support showroom resets and event prep
* Assist consultation setup or marketing preparations
* Help with administrative event readiness
* Provide cover support during sickness or peak periods
This collaborative approach ensures every event delivers to the THTH standard.

Apprenticeship & Learning
Alongside your role, you will complete the AI Activator Level 3 Apprenticeship, learning:

You'll dedicate 20% of your working hours to structured learning and development.
