This role will lead the Corporate Partnerships team at Home-Start UK and drive the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy that builds on a recent period of significant growth. With projected corporate income of £2.5 million in 2025/26, the successful candidate will focus on generating sustainable, high-return income. They will ensure excellent supporter-focused account management for existing partners, while also identifying and securing new partnerships to build a strong pipeline for long-term income.
Ultimately, this work will enable Home-Start UK to support more families with young children through challenging times.
Key Responsibilities of the role
Strategic
 * Develop and implement a corporate partnerships fundraising strategy to capitalize on the recent period of growth, creating sustainable, stable income that delivers a good ROI.
 * Lead the account management team to develop robust cultivation and stewardship plans for all corporate partnerships, ensuring engagement and support from across Home-Start UK and the Home-Start network to help deliver the partnerships.
 * Lead the New Business function to develop a robust pipeline for new business corporate prospects that ensure the financial targets are met and exceeded.
 * Lead, develop and maintain demonstrably successful relationships with the key corporate supporters.
 * Work with the marketing team to update and develop where needed a suite of high-quality materials to be used in proposals, applications and presentations to help engage corporates.
 * In line with the fundraising strategy establish objectives and KPIs for the corporate partnerships team that help deliver a robust and sustainable portfolio of partnerships that meet agreed targets.
 * As part of the Heads of leadership group support the Director of Fundraising & Communications in the leadership of the fundraising & marketing team contributing to the development and delivery of the fundraising & marketing strategy playing a lead role in contributing to wider income generation and marketing.
Operational
 * Lead on the quarterly and annual budget process for corporate partnerships, working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications and the Finance Team with close attention to the corporate partnerships’ financial targets.
 * Proactively manage budgets, monitor and report on corporate partnership income generation including corporate pipeline, new business achieved and the status of existing partnerships to ensure income targets are delivered.
 * Utilise the relationship database as appropriate (currently Raisers Edge).
 * Set and monitor relevant KPI’s for both short and long-term growth.
 * Ensure that our corporate partnerships are compliant with Data Protection law and with good practice in Fundraising Standards and legal requirements in this area.
 * Ensure relevant policies and procedures are implemented and developed where necessary.
 * To work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify and collate collateral showing the impact Home-Start makes and ensure their appeal to corporate partners.
 * To work closely with the finance team to ensure we are representing and managing relevant financial information and legal agreements accurately and effectively.
