About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experiencedPipe Fitterto join our team, working with mild steel pipework ranging from inch to 2 inches. The successful candidate will be responsible forcutting, threading, and assemblingpipe systems around large and heavy fabrications, based on detailed engineering drawings.
COMPLETELY WORKSHOP BASED
Key Responsibilities:
* Cut, thread, and assemble mild steel pipe (" 2") to specified measurements
* Work around large/heavy fabrications safely and effectively
* Interpret and work from technical and engineering drawings
* Build and install pipework systems to high standards of accuracy
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment
* Collaborate with fabricators, welders, and engineers as needed
* Ensure work meets all quality and safety standards
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter working with mild steel
2. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
3. Skilled in pipe cutting and threading
4. Comfortable working around large-scale fabrications
