We are looking for an experienced diabetes specialist nurse to join our Inner London Diabetes Service. We cover the London tri-boroughs (Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster) and work within a multidisciplinary team consisting of consultants, specialist nurses, dietitians, and admin team. The service works in partnership with general practitioners and other health care professionals, providing tailored support and guidance. Our main office base is at the central location of Lission Grove, and we have clinics running at 9 different sites.
* Relevant post registration training and experience in the management of patients with mainly Type 2 Diabetes
* Ideally be an Independent Nurse Prescriber or demonstrate a willingness to achieve this qualification
* Be a great a team player who is willing to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best care possible for our patients
* Have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care and be a good role model in reflecting the Trusts core values
* You should be able to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions and within stressful, unpredictable situations including responding to and solving urgent and emergency situations on a daily basis.
* Be competent to offer guidance and supervision to members of the clinical team
