We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Edinburgh Airport during the busy summer peak!

This is an exciting opportunity to become the face of our brand, delivering outstanding service to customers renting vehicles for their travel needs. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a natural flair for building relationships, we want to hear from you!

This is a temporary position starting from the start of March until end of September, requiring flexibility with shifts available across seven days a week between 7am-10pm.

The number of contracted hours will be 45, but flexibility with working days and times is essential - shifts will vary over 7 days a week, various working rota between 7am-10pm.

The pay will be £12.41 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Triage customers at the rental counter assisting them with their needs.
2. Greet customers warmly upon their arrival at the rental counter.
3. Provide information about available vehicle options, rental rates, and additional services such as insurance coverage.
4. Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and signed by the customer.
5. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rental periods, noting any pre-existing damage.
6. Support in the parking area with any customer questions.
7. This role involves driving and the movement of vehicles as part of daily responsibilities.
8. Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes
9. Address any inquiries or concerns raised by customers regarding their rental experience, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
10. Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and security, adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude.
12. Previous experience in customer service or retail.
13. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
14. Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
15. The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Additional Information:

16. Full UK manual drivers licence required
17. In accordance with current government guidelines, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role as the role does not appear on the Home Office list of RQF Level 6 roles approved for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker system.
18. No drug or alcohol related offence within the last five years is permitted.
19. You must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
20. This is a temporary position starting from the start of March until end of September, requiring flexibility with shifts available across seven days a week between 7am-10pm.
