Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an additional Stores Operative to join our AP Filtration site in Bolton. The Role As a member of the Stores Team, you will be accountable to the Operations Manager for contributing to the efficient running of the Stores function, and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials. Issue materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements. Pack completed items to set standards from pick lists for various customers. Raise Job orders when required. Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor Maintain accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required. Ensure stores are always kept clean/tidy and HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times. Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and maintain stock rotation. Follow stock location procedures. Continually seek areas for improvement to processes and service delivery. Provide general support to the Operations Manager and undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated.
