This role plays a vital partin supporting day-to-day security operations, helping to ensure the safety ofpeople, property, and assets while delivering a consistently high standard ofservice. Asa Relief Security Officer, you will provide flexible support across a range ofshifts and locations on site. You’ll be responsible for monitoring accesspoints, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring all securityprocedures are followed. This position requires someone who remains calm underpressure, demonstrates strong situational awareness, and can respondconfidently and effectively in emergency situations. What you’ll do: Deliver flexible security coverage across the site, adapting to operational needs Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the premises Carry out regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations Accurately record all activities and complete detailed incident reports Adhere to all site security procedures and Sodexo policies at all times Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a safe, secure, and supportive workplace Whatyou bring: Good understanding of core security operations and procedures, with the ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations Flexible and adaptable approach to shift patterns and operational requirements Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and situational awareness Confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Competent IT skills for accurate reporting and record-keeping Hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence and a current First Aid certificate Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points) Must meet the minimum age requirement of 25 and be able to successfully pass BS7858 security vetting standards What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more thana job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in acompany and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have animpact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your ownway.
