* Certified IBM DB2 DBA or equivalent experience.
* Hands-on experience in DBA activities such as data maintenance, authorization, privileges, backup, and recovery.
* Operational support experience, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Result-oriented, customer-focused, and good team relationships.
* At least 2 years of experience as a DB2 DBA on mainframes.

* Providing 24/7 production support.
* Solution provision to application teams.
* Working on logical and physical partitioning databases.
* Data refreshes in development regions.

* Quarterly disaster recovery activities.
* Database restorations and redirects.
* Backups and recovery in stand-alone and DPF environments.
* Creating DB2 objects like databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes.
* Supporting Windows applications like Philbert, WinSQL, NLP.
* Disaster recovery exercises.
* Cataloging mainframe databases for open systems access.
* Resolving user issues, managing access rights.
* Working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, views.
* Frequent restorations based on business needs.
* Table space backups and restorations.
* Supporting DB2 tools like IBM Data Studio, Rational Manager, Installation Manager.
* Working with Q Replication.
* Incident and change management using HPSM.
